Addition to head of economic analysis role: coordinating the production of the CBI's surveys

Coordinate quarterly macroeconomic forecast, the analysis of CBI business surveys, the CBI's monetary policy stance, ongoing assessment of the economic conjuncture and outlook, assessment of ad hoc macroeconomic issues.

Responsible for coordinating CBI Budget and Pre-Budget Report submissions, and drafting letters. Pre and post Budget analysis, public finance analysis and forecasts (spending and tax), macroeconomic policy analysis.

Analysis of data on children in workless households and policies to support an improvement in parental labour market outcomes.

Providing analytical support to the committee. Coordinated private equity inquiry and drafted report, contributed to analysis of the 2007 Pre-Budget Report.

Assessment of older people's well-being using survey indicators, cross-government older people strategy

Coordinated and signed off macroeconomic briefing, macroeconomic communication strategy, rationalisation of macro briefing
