-Assessment and treatment in individuals with various speech, language, and cognitive deficits. -Interpret Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing, Modified Barium Swallow studies and bedside swallow evaluations.

-Assessed and treated adults with aphasia, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, TBI, apraxia of speech, and dysphagia in a rehabilitation setting. -Experience with tracheostomy patient and placement of Passy-Muir speaking valve.-Exposed to Evidenced-Based Practices regarding neuromuscular electrical stimulation with dysphagia patients. -Participated in family meetings in conjunction with other disciplines

-Assessed and treated pediatric patients with articulation, language, phonology, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Phelan-McDermid Syndrome, Childhood apraxia of speech, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, and pragmatic disorders. -Co-treatment with Occupational therapist -Educated patients and families regarding evaluation results and treatment program. -Gained experience in writing goals and objectives, diagnostic reports, and documenting progress.-Performed hearing screenings with pure tone audiometry and tympanometry. -Conducted speech and language screenings at Headstart programs within the Mobile Area.
