For a month, I followed the owner of Bespoke Custom Florals, Connie Harbby, around, learning the aspects of owning a business and the obstacles that come along with it. Through this internship, I ran errands, counted the till, opened/closed the store, and studied the way the owner dealt with hardships that arose. I learned many skills, not only within the floral business but also management and marketing skills.

A Customer Service Associate at Dewayne’s Country Home and Garden is expected of many duties. I performed daily tasks such as: conversing with customers through telephone calls and one-on-one contact, running a cash register, resolved customer conflict, mentored new employees, counted the till at the end of each shift, and maintained a tidy workspace.
