For example responsible for developing and implementing strategies, processes and policies for different sub categories and to establish a supplier base and agreements based on the organization’s needs. Focus was initially on technical engineering resources and in particular software development. The amount of software is rapidly increasing in our vehicles and at the same time we are facing a shortage of software developers. The strategy therefore managed both supply of resources and the need to lower the costs due to exceeded budgets. R&D development projects were for example outsourced to low cost country. During the first year, the cost for SW development was reduced with half and R&D was given the opportunity to run several large projects, as we were now able to supply developers due to new agreements and a partly new supplier base. Leading the procurement of a global HR (suite) system and a global purchasing system (source-to-order). Both cloud SaaS solutions. Focus during the latter part of the employment was on internal development of the Purchasing Department. For example: o Project leader for the procurement of the global purchasing system, incl preparation and business case. o Development of Kongsberg’s general terms and conditions for indirect services and goods together with Legal.

Area of responsibility: technical consultants, contractors, blue collars, security services etcFrom being an operational purchasing department, I established a category based strategic purchasing function for services. Developed and implemented strategies, processes and policies for in particular the categories technical consultants, constructors, blue collars, security services but also for other services. Established a governance model and forum where Purchasing and R&D implemented and improved strategies and processes, which considerably improved Purchasing’s relation with R&D (the major internal customer). Actively contributed to Ringhals’ so called efficiency program. Used SCRUM and Kanban project management methodology. Managed operational buyers.During the last two years, I worked closely with the Purchasing Director in strategic questions like for example:o Development of decision material (including efficiency measures, new organization, new roles and new way of working) for the merge of two Purchasing Departments.o Processes for how the Purchasing Department should work with strategic suppliers and processes for project purchase.
