Co-facilitate Leaders in Health Training program; train community health leaders in public health theories, community based participatory research, health equity, program design and implementation. Lead sessions, advise participants, evaluate assignments.

Taught earth, physical, and life sciences while integrating in environmental and urban concepts, issues, and topics. Related scientific concepts to local ecological issues, including wetlands depletion, urban ecology, and urban environmental health. Developed curriculum, coordinated with colleagues, participated in and organized school activities and functions, including the school’s first full day of Earth Day activities and the school’s first Science Fair.

Outdoor education with New Orleans Title One, Recovery District elementary schools. Developed program curriculum, instructed students on school campuses, in City Park, and Fountainbleu State Park. Taught canoeing safety and steering, orienteering skills, team building and initiative games, introduction to wetlands. Interact with students in a manner comparable to a camp counselor.

Transported farmers’ market produce and baked goods delivered to pantries and shelters. Instructed and trained high school volunteers, negotiated with donors, recorded amounts of received food. Worked with local people from Cambridge. Regularly volunteered for co-workers, transporting food from warehouses and food establishments.
