Having worked with the perinatal population for 9 years, I had always been on the sidelines supporting and watching my clients go through the stages of their transition into Motherhood. I could sympathize with what they were going through, but I never truly understood what it really was like, until I went through it myself. And OOOOOOH BOY! It's been eye opening in so many ways. Before my kids rocked my world, I used to spend a lot of time roaming the outdoors, splitboarding, rock climbing, and enjoying uninterrupted workouts. Now I get my kicks going indoor climbing, the occasional ski day, and very short, often interrupted workouts. Moving my body often, feeling strong, and being active outdoors are my priorities.
