About Anna-Lisa Hackett
I have performed the roles of Hannah Glawari (The Merry Widow), Fiordiligi (Cosi fan tutte) and Donna Anna (Don Giovanni) with Opera NEO in San Diego. I have also sung the roles of Nedda (I Pagliacci) with Sin City Opera in Las Vegas, The Queen of the night (Die Zauberflöte) and Frasquita (Carmen) with the Phoenix Opera, Hannah Glawari (The Merry Widow) and Madame Pompadour (Madame Pompadour) with the Ohio Light Opera. I began this season singing Violetta at the Vienna Opera Academy followed by a new production at Arizona Opera (Shining Brow). I have also sung with the FAVA music festival in Austria and FIO music festival in Brazil. I've won first prize in the Southwest Vocal Competition and Schubert Club Competition and was a finalist in the Loren L. Zachary Society National Vocal Competition. I've also been a featured soloist with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Phoenix symphony, the Marina del Ray Symphony and ProMusica of Arizona.I currently enjoy teaching music to new generations and own a private vocal studio.
