As an Assistant Director, I was responsible for defining product strategy, introducing product management principles, and building and leading teams of product owners to deliver a wide range of developments. I also introduced UX practices to the business to improve the overall user experience across our products.In this role, I managed the product innovation pipeline and early-stage development across B2B, B2C, and B2G markets, focusing on both software and courseware in the education and training sectors. We rapidly brought innovative digital language learning and training products to market, aimed at large-scale audiences.Key accomplishments included launching MOOCs with over 400k users, mobile apps, new digital assessments, tools for teachers, and a series of experimental projects in emerging technologies. These developments helped expand our impact across diverse market segments and drive innovation in education and training.

Cambridge English Teacher was a CPD site for teachers, with resources, virtual events, jobs, and discussion boards. At its peak, it had around 100k users from around the world.I was responsible for defining and delivering the overall solution - the output of the various project streams involved in the development of the product.

In this role, I was responsible for the product development and operation of all new digital and blended learning products and content.These products represented the first digital innovations in the International arm of the business. This included a distance learning programme with live tuition, a virtual world game-based learning product for young learners, a new full blended-learning programme, the introduction of IWBs to the UK and IRL schools and a number of apps and classroom support tools.KIC is a large international provider of EFL and pre-university courses.

The Oxford school caters to approximately 1500 students a year. My responsibilities included all aspects of school management – budgetary management, profitability, operations, staff supervision, training, recruitment and active promotion of the school to agents and internal customers.During this time I also started the role of Learning Innovation Manager which became a full-time position as I built a new department.

I have held multiple roles in international education, managing and directing teachers and teaching across various programmes, including language learning and university access and foundation courses. My experience spans curriculum development and assessment design, ensuring high-quality learning outcomes and effective teaching strategies tailored to diverse student needs. I have a strong background in developing programmes that prepare students for academic success in higher education, with a focus on innovative teaching practices and a commitment to educational excellence.

The city council delivers vacation, summer and after-school programmes for all eligible children aged 5-12 in the area. I was responsible for overall management of these 3 large vacation centres and 15 after-school programmes.

Set up and day-to-day management of a school summer programme for students 9-11 with ESL, literacy, numeracy or additional learning needs.

Camp Timbercrest is an outdoor residential camp run by the Girl Guides for lower-income families. As Director, I was responsible for the overall management of the camp.
