Participation in the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism in Protected Areas process for two small protected areas in Italy, the “Sistema di Aree Protette dell’Oltrepo mantovano” and the “Comunità Montana Alpi Lepontine”. Integrated analysis of the touristic sustainability for both the areas calculating the biocapacity and the ecologic fingerprint (through the use of software GIS) and analysis of the Genuine Progress Indicator and its applicability to the local Italian reality.
