Since November 2014 I have worked as a Level 2 host at the National Marine Aquarium. This position involves driving marine conservation through engagement with the general public, through shows, talks and activities. I also work as part of the educational team, delivering curriculum linked tours and workshops to visiting schools. One of my roles at the National Marine Aquarium involves the management of the Creative Centre; this is a free area open to the public over weekends and holidays, where families can partake in a craft that can be taken home. I design the activities for this area, and assist in the management of this area when open. I also run a toddler group, where I run activities and games to help nurture a love for the ocean.

Plymouth University

Alongside working at the National Marine Aquarium, I have also had an internship at the Marine Institute. This involved assisting in fieldwork; the collection of data on a moving vessel (a fishing boat) for current projects, and video analysis.
