About Anna Lyubetskaya

As a computational biology team lead and an individual contributor, I partner with oncology R&D teams to propose new drug targets and advance pre-clinical programs. I guided multiple program decisions, proposed and implemented strategies for target identification leveraging patient molecular data, and developed enterprise-wide pipelines for genomics data analyses.Over a decade of post-PhD experience, I employed high-throughput data, multi-omics integration, and machine learning across diverse domains, including tumor-intrinsic cancer resistance, personalized cancer vaccines, metabolic disorders, and infectious diseases.

  • Metaphore Biotechnologies
    Associate Director Of Computational Biology
Metaphore Biotechnologies Aug 2024 - Present
  • Bristol Myers Squibb
    Senior Principal Scientist
Bristol Myers Squibb Apr 2022 - May 2024
    Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States
In collaboration with drug discovery collaborators, spearheaded the identification and validation of novel oncology targets in 2 solid tumor indications within a global, cross-functional setting. As a result, developed a complete analytical and experimental framework that leveraged machine learning, artificial intelligence, and image analysis, multi-modal spatial transcriptomics and pathology patient data, and pooled functional genomics screens, facilitating the generation of novel target and biomarker hypotheses.
  • Bristol-Myers Squibb
    Principal Scientist
    Bristol-Myers Squibb Sep 2019 - Apr 2022
Partnered with 6 oncology drug discovery programs across stages of development, contributing predictive and pharmacodynamics biomarkers, translational hypotheses, and patient disease stratifications. Pioneered quantitative analyses of state-of-the-art genomics technologies – including spatial transcriptomics, scRNA-Seq, Perturb-Seq, and cfDNA/RNA – to drive biomarker strategies.
  • Genocea
    Senior Computational Biologist
    Genocea Feb 2019 - Jul 2019
Led clinical and research computational work to facilitate a personalized neoantigen cancer vaccine Phase 1/2a clinical trial.
  • Genocea
    Computational Biologist
    Genocea May 2018 - Feb 2019
Contributed to the initiation of a personalized neoantigen cancer vaccine Phase 1/2a clinical trial by providing analytics for a proprietary cell assay and by investigating the competitive space.
  • Copyright Clearance Center
