Working as part of the Davies Special Investigations support team to prevent insurance fraud. The role involves undertaking desktop investigative interviews using cognitive interviewing techniques as well as providing desktop investigation support to field based investigators.Duties and Responsibilities:• Provide support to investigators in the investigation and validation of claims within the agreed structured processes, working in tandem with the appointed Davies adjuster. • Completing Further Due Diligence/Enhanced Due Diligence Reports• To ensure that all diaries, files and correspondence are maintained in line with company standards and procedures and provide a clear and concise history of events, action and quantum assessment (in tandem with the adjusters/claims handlers where appropriate).• When appropriate, case manage or undertake desk-top investigations utilising the investigative tool options available, employing best practice & key investigative competencies.• Assist in the generation of optimal revenue for the company by ensuring true & accurate time recording and strict adherence to fee rates.• Ensure that fees are issued at the appropriate time, and are allotted to the correct cost base.• Carry out desktop and telephone investigation of claims which have been selected for conversation management.• Validate genuine claims, repudiate claims which are not covered and escalate claims which require further investigation.• Provide reports for insurers including recommendations and advice• To provide support to colleagues within Davies Group in regard to fraud detection and containment
