Physician Assistant – OB/GYN – covering services: MFM, Gyn, Gyn/Onc, labor floorEvaluation and management of L&D triage, management of laboring and antepartum patients in a team based setting with residents and attendings on labor and delivery floor, first assist in cesarean sections.Floor management of gynecologic as well as gyn/onc patients, evaluation of gynecologic consults in the emergency department as well as from other services throughout the hospitalCollaborate in a team consisting of residents, fellows and attendings in the management of the maternal fetal medicine inpatient service.Initiate consults, follow up patient’s results, and communicate with nursing staff and/or patient’s primary team in the management of patient’s antepartum, delivery and postpartum care.

Physician Assistant at Ichan School of Medicine Faculty Practice Independent office visits for annual and concern visits for gynecologic care, including independent management of pap smear results, follow up, and colposcopy. Independent management and counseling and independent initiation of contraception including options for non-hormonal methods, COCs/OCPs, insertion of IUDs and administration of depo-provera injections.Concern visits and follow up for patients under urogynecology care, including administration of urodynamic procedures, fitting and maintenance of pessaries, administration of PFT and PTNSTriage and management of post-op patients both with patient calls to office as well as scheduled and unscheduled visits for the management of postop concerns including incision checks, trial of void, removal of drains and catheters in postop period.Preceptor for physician assistant students

Evaluation and management of L&D labor triage, management of laboring and antepartum patients on an extremely busy labor and delivery floor, assist in scheduled, unscheduled and emergency cesarean sections, management of postpartum department.Assist in scheduled and emergency gynecological surgeries, evaluation and management of gynecologic consultations in the emergencies department.
