I am a confident, hard working and friendly individual who is always up for learning new skills.I recently graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a joint BA Hons in Journalism, Media and Communications and History. I have returned to the University of Strathclyde, this time to the Business School, for a further year of study in Msc Marketing.Over the past five years, I have worked in various sectors which have allowed me to develop and utilise new skills. These part-time jobs have included work in social media, communications, hospitality, retail and tourism.For the past two summers my main part-time job has been as a tour guide at the Tomatin Distillery, this has been a wonderful experience and has sparked a real passion for Scotch Whisky. This job has enabled me to utilise my public speaking skills, as I take visitors of all nationalities around the distillery on guided tours. It has also allowed me to represent the Tomatin brand at various local events including festivals and trade shows. This has been very beneficial in improving my communication skills which are useful for my university course.
