Head of HR for the IT Shared Service Centre which provided infrastructure services to 35 companies across 23 countries for the ABF Group. Led the HR Team in shaping and delivering the people agenda.

Headed up the HR Function on site for the Customer Distribution Centre (CDC) and Distribution Service Office (DSO) functions. Leading a HR team of 7 to support the site’s headcount of 1000 co-workers. Created and delivered the people strategy to drive the business through people agenda.

Head of HR (managing remote team of 3 HR Professionals) for the Thermal Power Generation business, which consisted of 8 Power Stations across the UK as well as functional support teams during a time of significant uncertainty as a result of internal and external pressures.

HR business partner for 3 stations and some functional teams delivering the people agenda. Managed a number of change projects including, business restructure, changes to final pay pension scheme and a significant redundancy programme that resulted in a 30% reduction in headcount and the closure of one station. Project included collective and individual.

Partnering with the business to develop, communicate and implement the HR strategy for the renewables and nuclear businesses. HR lead on due diligence project identifying key people risks to support decision on business case investment.

Working in partnership with the management teams with particular focus including recruitment, succession planning, leadership development, performance management and employee engagement.

Generalist HR for the Eastern Region, which consisted of 2 stations and project based work for the portfolio of 7 stations. Advising regional and site based managers on HR matters, including application of policy and processes, interpretation of employment legislation, trade union agreements and applying best practice.
