About Anna Maher

I started my nursing career in adult intensive care and spent 6 years learning about caring for a variety of adult critical conditions. I then transited into emergency nursing and have spent the last 6 years of my career in that field. In 2017 I obtained my Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner certification and performed sexual exams in the hospital. In 2020 I transitioned from staff nurse in the ED to Clinical Nursing Supervisor. I currently work directly under the ED manager to help lead and support 130 clinical staff in the emergency department. I am passionate about sexual health and working with at risk populations.
