I have been developing & running the Creative Performance programme, an initiative that allows local communities to engage with highly trained theatre practitioners weekly. We pride ourselves on providing quality, affordable, fun workshops for children and young adults and believe that the arts are essential in allowing children to develop and achieve their full potential. We partner with local schools and community venues to reach some of the most disadvantaged children in the Midlands • Developing and delivering weekly after school Creative Performance projects that culminate in a performance with KS1 – KS4 across Nottingham & Derby• Partnering with disadvantaged schools in Nottingham and Derby to include black and minority ethnic communities as well as vulnerable young people • Devising workshops that develop life skills and support National Curriculum• Devising, delivering and directing Yr. 6 ‘Play in a Day’ with partner schools • Partnering with schools to direct their in-house Nativity (cast of 70 children which includes; early years, KS1 & KS2, children with disabilities, additional needs and vulnerable children) • Partnering with primary schools to deliver their SSF performance of The Tempest at Nottingham Arts Theatre • Prepare educational packs & plans to support individual class project • Devising & delivering Christ The Kings Secondary CVA Drama Academy (Curriculum scheduled weekly hour sessions for ‘the most gifted and talented’ students) • Researching & building relationships with local schools/organisations • Recruiting, interviewing and training freelance workshop leaders• Curating Masterclass sessions engaging London based industry professionals• Developing a volunteer’s programme to help facilitate workshops • Leading on planning meetings to ensure quality and develop ideas • Managing workshop leaders training & personal development• Evaluating workshop leaders progress & quality• Create marketing material • Tendering • Finance
