I support patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal illnesses and multiple chronic comorbidities by diagnosing and treating, initiating medication, ordering diagnostic interventions, and executing follow ups as required in clinic and acute care settings. I obtain complete physical, history and pre-procedure exams on new and returning patients. I assess, order, monitor, and interpret pertinent diagnostic studies and laboratory testing. I develop treatment plans with recommended therapies, pharmacological, and non-pharmacological treatment regimens in accordance to the most up to date professional practice guidelines. I collaborate with physicians on an as needed basis in regards to patient care.
