I am a Professional Multi Award Winning Photographer and Writer.With almost twelve years photography experience, I specialise in Pet, Portrait and Aviation Photography. I am a location photographer with a love of natural light, I look to capture the magical moments, the unforgettable memories, the laughter and silly moments of a pet or family. My photography style is natural, colourful and a little bit dreamy. I love to tell a story with pictures in a whimsical and wonderful way.My images have been published in national and international publications, including in Vogue. I am a regular freelance contributor for the UK’s best selling photography magazine, Digital Camera. With over 85 photography awards to date, most notably I was awarded Best Pet Photographer for Gloucestershire in 2023 and 2024 by LuxLife Magazine. I was voted in the Top 3 photographers in South Gloucestershire by ThreeBestRated in 2022 and 2024.I placed in the Top 100 pet photographers worldwide in 2020 and I won Safari Photographer of the year in 2016.I have significant writing and journalism experience. I am a published features writer for national magazine, Dogs Monthly with a monthly readership of 80,000. I have previously held the role of writer/columnist for local newspaper, The Wotton Times where I had my own ‘Pets Corner’ Column, writing articles to engage and inspire readers. I am a social media expert with exceptional content creation skills. With a keen interest in animal welfare and a passion for dogs, I am a fully qualified Canine Behaviour & Psychology Practitioner with exceptional knowledge of dog behaviour. With 9 years experience of teaching, I am Head Tutor at the Institute of Photography where I teach students of all ages and abilities around the world, leading a team whilst collaborating with others. I have experience in public fundraising. In 2023, I partnered up with the NoToDogMeat foundation to help raise awareness and help put an end to the cruel dog meat trade worldwide. This allowed me to demonstrate my project management and fundraising skills.I have fundraised for local dogs homes and during lockdown I raised funds for Dogs Trust by taking doorstep portraits in the local community. I am currently involved with a fundraising project for the Great Bulls of China charity whereby I have organised a competition and designed their Christmas cards for 2024, to help raise funds to rescue and regime dogs from the Chinese meat trade.I will always stand up for what I believe in and be a voice for the voiceless. 🐕
