Team Management • Overall responsibility and management for Captain Suzann Pettersen. This included scheduling arrangements, event support, media and communications commitments. Meeting and exceeding every deliverable over a 2-year compressed competition cycle. This necessitated a high degree of organization, commercial acumen and resilience. • Pre-tournament management of 30 athletes prior to team selection. Organising logistics for full team practice, encompassing venue/course scouting, media responsibilities and team-building. Adept people and communication skills required as only 12 golfers make the final team, meaning personalities had to be managed carefully. • Pre- and in- tournament management of the Team Europe athletes, and their wider teams. Managed logistics, media requirements and sponsor deliverables. • Budget management. Handled and delivered guest program and Team Europe budgets. Delivered on-time and under budget. • Guest program management. Arranged for c.150 guests per tournament day; including invitations, accommodation & itineraries. Tournament travel, logistics & accommodation. Arranged for c.100 staff to the Solheim Cup.Partnership Management • Management of key global accounts. Responsible for all delivery and relationship management. Successfully renegotiated contracts onto longer-term deals at reduced cost with increased partner deliverables. Support on other key accounts. • New partnership proposal creations for global brands including automotive, finance and lifestyle. Designed proposals for new proprietary assets to add additional revenue streams for the LET. Examples include new multi-media asset creation, updated competition structuring and data collection. • Official Partner & Sponsor communications & activation coordination for the Solheim Cup. Co-ordination of LET’s commercial assets.
