Kindergarten teacher and Gearing Up for Kindergarten (early childhood education) Program Coordinator and teacher.

Taught two sessions of preschool (morning and afternoon) three days per week. I also planned and organized the Early Childhood and Family Education (ECFE) in the Wheaton community.

Operate a child are center and preschool licensed to care for 150 children ages 6 weeks-12 years. Manage the day-to-day operations of the child care center including enrollment, marketing, staffing, budgeting, daily communication, state licensing requiremenet, project management, and grant writing.

Lead Preschool Teacher for licensed preschool program. Utilized Creative Curriculum to plan and implement age appropriate lessons for children ages 3-5 in a structured preschool environment.

Assisted center director with daily operations of childcare program including center tours, billing, assisting in classrooms, scheduling, hiring and enrollment.

Teacher at a new private school in Rochester, MN. Taught the pre-k classroom as well as language arts to Kindergarten, First, and Second grade students. Assisted the founders in the start-up of the new school including finding a locations for the school by writing letters and participating in meetings with potentials developers/sponsors, writing policies and procedures for the school, creating progress reports for each grade level, and took courses to implement the International Baccleaurate program.

Cared for up to 40 residents overseeing staff in their direct care of residents as well as providing care as ordered by physicians.
