Welcome! My name is Anna. I've been in the customer service industry for 10 years in various positions of increasing responsibility. I do have experience with different environments and backgrounds (restaurant, retail store, and office). I'd love to tell you a little more about my personality, my work history, and my personal growth and aspirations.I am a person who prioritizes communication, understanding, enhanced learning, and group dynamics. I am very passionate about teaching and mentoring my peers. I enjoy encouraging others and celebrating their successes with them.One experience that I feel really sets me apart in my current industry (banking) is my time in the Pet Care and Animal Training industry.During my time with Petco, I learned very quickly. Within my first 6 months there began to mentor others. The majority of my time there was spent educating pet parents of all ages, partners in my own store, and eventually leaders and partners across my district. I was a part of many national level projects, I traveled for seminars and training, and I continued my education in behavior.My job required me to understand and properly execute teaching strategies in a classroom setting (onsite and virtual), manage groups of people, present and create teaching material, understand and teach animal behavior and training strategies. For about two years, I ran my own dog training business. I focused on rehabilitation and keeping pets and their families together long term by helping them discover and explore their bond.I studied and earned my CPDT-KA certification (Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed) to further enhance my education and resources. After a time of running my own business, I decided to focus on a career that is better suited to supporting my family's well-being.I utilize the skills I learned during that time in my current position to coach and educate those I am responsible for mentoring (Loan Specialists) in their own unique learning style, recognize how current conditions or events can affect my team's mental state, and anticipate or react quickly to potential needs.I look forward to continuing to grow and learn in the financial industry. I have never been one to stop learning. I've always been curious. I will learn how to do a specific skill and then get to a point where I am able to teach that skill to others. Over the next decade in my career, I would like to continue to advance in the financial industry and take the time to further my education specifically on business and team management.
