Every morning I used to report announcements over the school’s PA system. I organized announcements from staff, students, and teachers. I also trained younger students in the Student Council to prepare them for the upcoming school years.

I started student trainingmy junior year to try something new. This past football seasonwasmy 2nd year back. My leadership will really come in hand, since I was 1 out of 3 seniors in this activity.

This past school year was my 2nd year in the student council. 2 school years ago I was a secretary for my class, but last year I was Student Body President for all classes. I loved the teamwork my council and I have done for each other and the school. We aimed to improve the school spirit while keeping costs of activities low.Which was successful!

I met with other student body Presidents and Vice Presidents to discuss issues that reside in our school and the surrounding community. We brainstormed potential solutions and present them to Dallas ISD Superintendent Stephanie Elizalde

I collaborate weekly with 10+ students to improve our school’s environment. We survey students to determine what problems need solutions and come upwith potential solutions.
