Proven ability to interpret funder policies, procedures and compliance requirements and assess their viability and impact. To advocate changes on future calls and programmes as per Strategic Agenda.− Provide guidance and support on planning, drafting, reviewing, and submitting international grant applications, specialized in European and International funds (H2020, NIH) − Liaise and network with researchers, partners and funding bodies to ensure timely and accurate applications. Coordination of institutional proposals.− To proof read grant applications, provide grant writing expertise, adapt proposal to call requirements, propose changes to maximize impact and success. To coach Legal and Postaward Dept of requirements of new funding calls, making changes on internal procedures as needed.− Coordinate and liaise research-related contracts (grants agreements, subcontracts, fellowships) as well as non-research related contracts (institutional frameworks programmes, non-disclosure agreements) with legal office and external parties. Propose changes to ensure consistency and adherence to set standards, achieving appropriate and acceptable contractual terms with due consideration and in time− Liaise with sponsors, partners, Human Resources Dept, Legal Dept & Postaward management for formal acceptance and timely grant activation, ensuring compliance with sponsors’s directives and internal policies.
