Currently work in tier 3 sector, for children and adolescents with moderate to severe mental health. Work in the community, supporting young people and children with conditions such as low mood anxiety, suicide ideation, psychosis, eating disorders, identity worries. We also collate information and assess for ndd disorders such as ADHD and ASD. The team I work with provides trauma based work also.

Experienced nurse with recent experience in a wide variety of inpatient mental health services. Mainly acute inpatient admissions across various sites and also older adults. Have also experience in forensic, adolescent, and the mother and baby unit. Fitting in with the established team, while working independently where appropriate. Managing teams and being in charge of wards, with responsibility of 20+ patients and 8-12 staff. Maintaining nursing skills and exercising the fundamental principles of mental health nursing as required. I spent many years on the bank but also spent over year on a ward for patients with complex care.
