Studio 165+ is a dynamic student-led design studio that works with real-world clients. In my leadership role as Project Manager, I worked with my fellow team lead to orchestrate project timelines, set clear deadlines, provide feedback, and delegate tasks for seamless operations. In addition to my own contribution to projects, I worked to foster a culture of excellence, overseeing and ensuring the quality of deliverables produced by our team. As a key liaison between our team and the Studio 165+ instructor, my fellow team lead and I maintained transparent communication regarding our collective progress and client projects. As the project manager, I had the responsibility of communicating directly with the client– organizing meetings, gathering additional information, answering questions, and sending final deliverables. With a strong passion for design, leadership, and effective communication, I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to further our team's success while expanding my own education.

As the Marion Arts Commission Graphic Design Intern, I worked to revitalize their visual identity by creating an engaging social media aesthetic in line with the organization's guidelines. I also extended these design improvements to their website, curating a cohesive appearance for board members' headshots, enhancing their online professionalism, and aligning with MAC's visual identity. Beyond design and aesthetics, I took the initiative to create and manage a posting schedule for social media, optimizing content to engage our audience effectively. I had the responsibility of writing all social media content as well as researching the information presented. I researched surrounding events to create a weekly event schedule, local and online resources for artists in Marion, places where artists can find inspiration, and practices that can help artists successfully strengthen their craft.

In addition to my position as graphic design intern, I also served as the interim secretary for the Marion Arts Commission Board. My responsibilities included taking minutes at all board meetings and distributing those minutes to board members afterward. I worked directly with the president of MAC's board to ensure tasks were completed and sent out emails to board members as needed.
