My vision is that everyone has the opportunity to live a good life in a way that works for them.I am an experienced, passionate and committed leader in health and social care having worked for over 20 years in roles across both the voluntary and statutory sectors. My experience includes working on pilots to introduce personal budgets for people who need care and support and introducing community based initiatives to keep people connected to the people and places that are important to them. I have managed services for people in the community, and worked as a commissioner in adult social care.At Shared Lives Plus, the UK network for shared living, my role involved working with Directors, commissioners and other providers to develop and diversify shared living models across the UK while supporting members to ensure the quality across the sector as well as leading and supporting my team which includes people with lived experience.As CEO at Headway East London since March 2021 I led the organisation out of the pandemic, coproduced a new strategy and restructured key teams to ensure the sustainability and stability of the organisation.
