I have been working as a MSK Physiotherapist for over 20 years. After spending 4 years in the NHS, I became self employed and have worked in many different private practices in and aruund Worcestershire and the West Midlands.I currently work part time in a practice in Bromsgrove, where I see patients from the NHS and privately as well as working in a First Contact Physiotherapy role for the CCG.I have recently set up my own clinic at home, aptly named 'Orange Door Physiotherapy and Sports Massage' on account of our large, orange front door. I aim to give people quick and simple access to experienced physiotherapy and sports massage in a relaxed and homely environment.I am an easy going, chatty person and I think one of my greatest qualities is being able to put people at ease, explain what is happening in a way everyone will understand and bridge the communication gap with GP's, specialists and patients. I truly believe that everyone should be able to access healthcare properly and be informed and empowered by the help they receive. If that is not happening, we, as health care professionals, are not doing our jobs.
