This area includes Edge Hill, Whitfield, Manunda, Manoora and some of Brinsmead.ABOUT ME: In 1996, I earned my Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland, and shortly afterwards integrated into the Cairns community. Since that time, I’ve dedicated myself to the well-being of our community serving in both the public and private sectors. I cherish my role as a physio and have had the privilege of caring for numerous members of our community. 15 years ago, I ventured into private practice – my business Flex Physio Cairns has developed into a successful and highly-respected local practice, employing several dedicated and highly-valued team members. In my downtime, you’ll often find me advocating passionately for the benefits of sports and recreation. I'm likely to be found on the sidelines of local sports grounds, volunteering my physiotherapy skills, managing teams, or coaching. I’m also deeply involved with Female and Co, an organisation dedicated to supporting elite Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander female athletes.I'm also actively involved in the creative arts scene in Cairns as a dedicated supporter of local art and music events. I currently sit on the Cairns Art Gallery Foundation Board.Engaging with our community is at the core of who I am. From executive positions at school P&F Associations or fundraising for local organisations, I’m known for my ability to get things done.
