Expanding my horizons and learning new skills has always been a passion of mine. Having had some previous experiences of my own and helping others through theirs, the legal field has become of incredible importance and interest to me. I have been involved in an online nonprofit organization that spanned across the entire United States. It helped those who did not have proper representation work through their civil court cases when dealing with court corruption. We would hold support groups, help write up court paperwork, attend court hearings and locate further support services in the recipient’s location. That experience helped me gain skills in collaborating with others, conducting court research and learning the local and state rules of court. Learning in detail what the laws and civil codes are have been of great interest and importance to me and also helped in my position with the nonprofit organization.Through my attendance at Campus College and my previous experiences I have learned many valuable technical skills that can be utilized in the future to this company’s advantage including Zoom, Google Meets, Microsoft Teams, Google Docs, Canva, Excel, and Microsoft Word.I am capable of effective and professional communication with clients in being able to listen to their concerns and resolve them in an effective manner while maintaining the integrity of the company. I can also prioritize effectively using my time wisely in addressing each item of business and continually moving things forward.
