As cultural producer for the municipality of Janakkala I develop culture related services, events, communications and travel. I help to preserve cultural heritage, create networks and co-operation opportunities with cultural organizations. I am the manager for the two local museums and responsible for the art collection of Janakkala. I plan the yearly budget and manage the funds of culture department and prepare financial aid plan for cultural organizations of the municipality. I work in our team of communications and marketing. I am one of the administrators of Janakkala website and social media. I also make layouts using programs such as Adobe Indesign and write marketing texts, bulletins and Finnish-English translations. My work contributes to the positive image and enrichment of my own community and I also take part in developing our marketing strategy. Working in the vivid and creative fields of arts and culture is always both challenging and rewarding.

I was a full time art teacher for British National Curriculum Key stage 2, primary school.I created the termly Syllabus and weekly lesson plans following the British NationalCurriculum. Guide work varied from office work, accounting and planning of activities to carrying them out with different sized customer groups. Flexibility, patience and working independently, many times under tight schedules were the biggest areas of growth as well as respecting and understanding different cultures and working as a part of international teams. Aimo Koulu is an art's and crafts school in Hämeenlinna, Finland. The school follows National Curriculum for Basic Art Studies in Finland. Teaching groups varied from pre-school, 5-6 yrs. to high-school, 18 yrs. Basic classes are held evening times and Art Camps are offered on School holidays. First I did a work placement period for my Bachelor studies and then continued toteach as a part-time teacher.
