The Scottish Mesothelioma Network (SMN) (http://www.scottishmesotheliomanetwork.scot.nhs.uk @ScotMesoNet) was established in April 2019 and comprises of a team of clinicians from across Scotland dedicated to transforming diagnosis and treatment for mesothelioma patients. The team collaborate to share best practice and provide high quality clinical care, information and support to all patients, wherever they live in Scotland. The SMN also ensures all patients have equitable access to potentially life-changing clinical trials and new treatment developments. As well as working with third sector partners to provide access to benefits and legal and compensation advice.

Queen Elizabeth University Hospital

Directing a project working with Breast Surgery Teams across the South and Clyde Sectors of Glasgow and Clyde introducing holistic follow-up care for breast cancer survivors. Obtained follow on funding to embed this new person centred model of follow-up into practice, providing over 2000 individually tailored care plans, building links with support organisations in the community and freeing up over 2,300 consultants appointments annually.This approach exemplifies the vision for cancer care set out in the Scottish Government's cancer strategy, Beating Cancer: Ambition and Action, published in Spring 2016This project is the first of it's kind within the Glasgow region and the successful Phase 1 Evaluation will inform roll out across the West of Scotland.This project was part of a national TCAT program looking at new models of follow-up for cancer survivors based on increasing evidence of unmet needs and pressure on NHS Services as a consequence. The program is funded by the Scottish Government, NHS Scotland, Macmillan and Local Authorities.

Meridian Court Glasgow

Commissioned some of Scotland's leading design agencies to produce social marketing campaigns using person centred design techniques on subjects ranging from HIV to suicide prevention, dementia and childhood flu. I directed multidisciplinary teams to produce publications, films, and social media campaigns., ensuring that all outputs met best practice accessibility standards and were health impact assessed for hard to reach groups.
