About:I was born in Potgietersrus SA, and emigrated to Australia in1999. I currently live in the northern suburbs of Perth WA with my husband, adult son, daughter-in-law and beautiful grandson. Although at times chaotic, I have learned to embrace the challenges and joys of a busy household! I'm a dedicated and seasoned educational therapist with a robust background in Special Education and a fervent commitment to enriching the lives of children with autism. As the Director of Hello You Autism Service, which is tailored to the unique needs of these exceptional individuals, I have honed a comprehensive, transdisciplinary approach that centres on fostering holistic development and empowerment.My journey spans years of hands-on experience in the field, cultivating a deep understanding of diverse learning needs within the autism spectrum. As an experienced Education Support teacher, certified ESDM therapist and PBS provider, I am passionate about providing a personalised, high quality therapy service that is rewarding, empathetic, family centred and successful. My aim is to equip the child with the skills they need to take on challenges with confidence so they can develop independence and integrate into the community. As part of this process, I also support and guide the other family members to support the child in the best possible way.
