I have spent 16+ years teaching and leading in education, gaining skills along the way as a classroom teacher, professional mentor and induction facilitator, an instructional coach, and a building principal. With the goal of improving experiences and outcomes for all, I have found that while I enjoy working directly with students, it is even more rewarding to lead and develop the skillsets of adults who are wanting to improve, and helping to create environments where goals can be met and improvement becomes a reality.I have several years experience with program and staff development, focused in a variety of areas. As a professional development coordinator, my role was to hear the needs of staff, and develop programming to support their growth goals in relation to the goals of our organization. If staff needs were in an area where I personally lacked knowledge and experience, it was part of my role to become knowledgeable so to carry forward our staff. As a life-long learner, and I enjoy learning new skills and concepts, and the challenge of expanding my own self so that I can then share to the benefit of others.I look forward to connecting with you!
