I am a policy manager in Consumer Protection Policy in the Central Bank of Ireland, focusing on MIFID conduct requirements, crowdfunding, innovation and consumer credit. I have also worked as a funds policy advisor in the Markets Policy Division of the Central Bank and dealt with issues relating to the legislative and regulatory requirements applicable to investment funds and their service providers. Prior to joining the Central Bank, I worked as a solicitor in the investment funds groups of a Dublin law firm and a leading Asia-Pacific law firm (in its Melbourne office). In these roles, I advised clients in relation to the legal and regulatory issues relating to the structuring, establishment and operation of investment funds.
