I moved from a FTC to a permanent position in January 2023.Working within Aegon's Brand and Content Team (responsible for brand management, content marketing and social media), my key responsibilities include: • Supported the delivery of Aegon’s new brand look and feel in the UK, including leading on the launch strategy and production across social media and key items such as the corporate brand video• Leading and supporting key marketing campaigns, including Aegon's annual Financial Wellbeing campaign• Leading and managing content production for Aegon's corporate social media channels (LinkedIn and X)• Implementing our social media strategy aligning with our wider Brand goals, social media best practice and the latest trends• Sharing monthly social media reporting with key stakeholders to track, analyse and monitor success, ensuring that we use these data led insights to refine and influence our social strategy• Supporting the execution of key brand campaigns, contributing to strategy development, creative execution and performance analysis to enhance brand visibility and engagement• Supporting content creation for our three key audiences (customers, employers and advisers) for our Insights hubs using SEO best practice.• External stakeholder management of content and creative• Managing internal stakeholder requests for brand feedback and creative

I joined Aegon UK in 2021 as part of Aegon's Brand team. I worked in this role for a year and a half before moving to a full-time contract.As a Content and Social Consultant, my main responsibilities included: • Supporting day to day content production, including writing content and copy, as well as playing an editor role to agency produced content.• Working and leading Aegon's drive to repurpose content effectively for bigger reports and social media.• Working closely with stakeholders on marketing campaigns and supporting the delivery of quarterly email newsletters.• Social media support - writing social content and assessing social analytics. Including the use of an integrated tool to respond to customer queries to maintain an efficient service.

As a Marketing Intern, I worked within Aegon's Brand and Marketing Operations team.During my 3 month summer placement, I got experience working across the comms channels.
