Responsible for regional strategy formulation, facilitation and oversight of investment and advisory programs, donor partnerships, fundraising efforts, and general administration. As Head of our Hong Kong SAR, China office, I also work with regional investment and advisory teams to coordinate IFC’s business development efforts with Hong Kong-based companies and financial institutions to drive cross-border activities and mobilization.

Responsible for growing IFC’s knowledge and business partnerships with the government and private sector clients. Led and curated major investment and climate conferences to promote IFC’s work in the region and facilitate business development. In 2023, I took on a short-term assignment as Senior Country Officer for Malaysia and relocated to Kuala Lumpur to focus on business development efforts and support the growth of IFC’s program in the country.

Responsible for leading strategy and supervising the Banking Development Department, which oversees MAS’ non-regulatory engagements with all local and foreign banks in Singapore.

I was Chief Representative of MAS’ New York office, which serves as MAS’ outpost for market surveillance on global financial and regulatory developments, central bank liaison and strategic partnerships with U.S. financial institutions.

Responsible for leading MAS' engagements with US and European Banks based in Singapore to grow their regional activities out of Singapore.

Responsible for policy advocacy to advance Singapore’s partnerships with governments and regulatory organisations representing the financial-services sector at ASEAN and ASEAN+3.

Led strategy and business development with Singapore-based companies seeking to expand their businesses in Asia and globally. Worked extensively on a range of advisory and capacity-building projects in urban management, governance and education sectors across Asia and Africa.

Pioneered the establishment of the International Partnerships Division to develop partnerships with Multilateral Development Banks including the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the World Bank Group.

Responsible for development and delivering curricula and lectures for diploma students in the field of global / current affairs, communications, and presentation skills.

Responsible for providing policy recommendations and leading the implementation of Singapore’s technical assistance programmes for Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Vietnam.
