As a Regional Compliance Officer in EMEA, I advise business on effective response to compliance challenges (anti-bribery and anti-corruption, conflict of interest, anti-trust topics) and provide support to the global Compliance Program development and implementation in EMEA, focused on the following:- conducting a full cycle of comprehensive country & regional Compliance Risk Assessments,- creating and delivering trainings on E&C risk areas, policies and procedures,- supporting business on compliance with export & sanctions regulation, - managing E&C approval procedure for business courtesies and marketing activities. As a dedicated Compliance Officer for CEMEA, I act as a key point of contact for queries on E&C policies & procedures in the region, including:- leading regular Leadership Compliance Councils,- driving E&C Ambassadors Program.

In a role of a Regional Compliance Officer, I supported global Compliance Program development and updated compliance processes & controls implementation across EMEA, including:- advised business on anti-bribery and anti-corruption, anti-trust, export & sanctions regulations (Russia, CIS, Middle East);- created awareness on E&C policies and procedures through trainings and communications in EMEA;- conducted country & regional Compliance Risk Assessments; - managed E&C approval procedure for business courtesies and marketing activities in EMEA.

As a Corporate Counsel, I was responsible for providing legal support to the leadership team in Russia, CIS & Eastern Europe, negotiating various commercial contracts in Russia, CIS, Eastern Europe, Germany & Switzerland (software licensing, data protection, professional services, channel contracts). I also partnered with E&C team, supporting business on trade compliance queries and creating awareness on E&C policies and procedures through trainings in the dedicated region.

In a role of a Legal Counsel, I gained experience in a various areas of law (IP, civil, corporate, competition, labor, data protection, public procurement and other). I negotiated a broad range of commercial agreements with customers, partners, suppliers and international vendors. I represented and protected company’s interests with courts and authorities, including bankruptcy procedure and pre-trial dispute resolution.
