I envision myself as a leading scholar who serves society by educating younger professionals, conducting scholarly research, and providing policy advice in areas related to behavioral and development economics focusing especially on sustainable development.I am a passionate economist with a proven track record of conducting high quality research and teaching. My ambition is to conduct international and collaborative research and to provide excellent teaching at Bachelor and Master’s levels. With social commitment and research expertise in Behavioral and Experimental Economics as well as environmental policy analysis and sustainable development, I develop new knowledge regarding the effect of behavioral-economic factors on policy effectiveness. I enjoy working with research projects with real-world applications that are motivating, demanding and require creativity. I find pedagogic tasks highly motivating, and students in both large and small groups consistently evaluated me with high marks for my excellent communication skills and well-structured lectures. I am adept at engaging people and developing relationships based on trust. I have built up a broad network within different disciplines in academia and with governments, businesses and policy makers, both nationally and internationally.
