I am a seasoned operator with a background in office management. Implementing office streamlining processes to increase efficiency and improve service is in my blood. I love to see an office that can track and accurately process data for archiving records. This may come from my time as an office manager at the newspaper. Archiving was just part of the day-to-day functions of the job. Within the scope of administrative service, I have operated as the first point of contact to the public, educating them in company services and products. With vendors and partners, I was able to proficiently schedule appointments and respond to inquiries via E-mail, text and or telephone. Never forgetting the follow up to confirm everything has been addressed and taken care of. Another habit I picked up working at the newspaper: The technical skills that I used to create this streamlined office was Microsoft office (Word, Quick books, Power-point, Satori Bulk Mailing, InDesign, and Outlook) software. Beyond my office knowledge I have also worked within the construction field as a liaison between customer and construction crew. The crew I lead was four strong and dedicated individuals that I appreciated every day I was able to work with them. Later in 2010 I became a Vice President of a small 501.3c in Oklahoma. Here I put my knowledge of event planning into action. With the help of those recruited from our small town of two thousand eight hundred we went from a yard sale to a $900,000. facility: it was a lot of fundraising. There was a family like camaraderie that pushed our small group to do bigger and better than the last fundraiser. I believe my key strengths are developing strong relationships with staff, management, and clients. I am organized and conscientious; entrusted by management with confidential materials, and able to adapt quickly to new and evolving environments.
