An experienced public health researcher with extensive national and international networks encompassing academia, non-profit and government. An innovative thinker, with 20 years of history using consumer collaboration and co-design to translate empirical data and theory into practice and policy, I facilitate effective collaborative efforts between researchers, communities and government and am interested in the application of social research methods in research design and ethics, project management, qualitative and mixed methods analysis, publication, teaching and supervision. Key Interests:Anna is interested in the application of social research methods, including mixed methods and co-design, to health, social inequalities and ethics. Her theoretical and methodological training lies across the anthropology of health and illness, qualitative research methods and mixed methods with a particular interest in illness discourse and thematic analysis. She is the recipient of an NHMRC post-doctoral fellowship and has experience in research design and ethics, project management, qualitative and mixed methods analysis, publication, teaching and supervision.
