Lecturer in Medical Ethics and Law at St George's, University of London.Research interests include ELSI in healthcare, biomedicine, biosciences and brain science. Special interest in invasive and non-invasive brain stimulation techniques, ethics of medical innovation and enhancement. Interested in dimensions related to ethical and regulatory issues in new biomedical technologies, 3D bioprinting, genetics and epigenetics, synthetic biology, identity, authenticity, autonomy and freedom, the epistemic aspect of mood and emotion modulation, philosophy of psychiatry and mental health policy. I have written and presented on cognitive, memory, mood and moral enhancement, medicalization, stem cell therapies, synthetic biology, medical tourism, brain stimulation, reproductive ethics and disorders of consciousness, 3-D printing ethics.Focus on philosophical bioethics methods and increased use of empirical bioethics to address questions arising from developments in science and medicine.
