Key deliverables• Lead Insurer on a portfolio of client accounts, including Professional Sports accounts with experience in dealing with high profile multimillion pound claims.• Managing the relationship with underwriters aware of the status of claims status and providing input and consultation for policy wording reviews. • In complex cases obtaining legal advice and liaising closely with lawyers and medical experts, investigating and reviewing medical reports.• Complaints handling regarding policy and claims issues• Facilitating market meetings with co-insurers and brokers.• Conducting regular audits of all service providers and compiling the audit reports.• Liaising with service providers and internal compliance to set up contracts and claims handling agreements.• Training and mentoring other claims adjusters in the team and carrying out peer reviews to aid self and colleague development.Key Achievements • Assumed responsibility of the entire Personal Accident account when the department manager left without notice.
