A graphic designer at heart, I've found a passion in project management with an emphasis on people and the cultural connections that make cross-functional teams shine. Creative Project Management is about going beyond meeting a brief, and finding solutions that elevate beyond the initial ask, with cohesive teams being the bloodline that brings the work to the next level. I love learning, and I'm a quick study - which means I know more about product development, supply chain, and food regulation than I ever would have imagined. But this extended operational knowledge has made me able to work cross-functionally to problem solve, drive, support, and connect teams. In anything I do I want to go beyond my standard scope to improve the outcomes of the work I do. I enjoy leading the team in using new systems and processes to reduce churn and elevate collaboration within and across departments. Using an agile framework, I bring improvements to ways of working that help increase performance without risking burnout.Culture is at the core of my day-to-day. It's a precious resource in project management, but also keeps me going through tough projects and stressful workloads. Promoting a positive and collaborative culture within my work and beyond to the greater company is an important factor in the satisfaction I have in my work. I've found purpose in working for a mission-driven company, and am an active advocate for sustainable practices. Working in a smaller company that has had a long-standing startup mentality has allowed me to understand the joy and excitement of experimentation and develop a flexible mindset - there are no limitations that can’t be overcome with the right people.In rest I continue to create with baking projects that on the best days I’m lucky enough to share with coworkers.
