My passion lies in promoting mental well-being and making a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families. My academic journey is currently going on as a master's student in mental health counseling, with my bachelors being in psychology. I have also been involved in research labs during my time at UMASS, such as The Work in Family Transition lab. During my time in the lab, I have completed my own research on maternity leave and depressive symptoms postpartum. I have also had the pleasure of TAing for two classes during my undergraduate career in clinical childhood psychology and professional development in psychology. Experiences such as these have really enriched my educational journey and have given me a deeper understanding of the psychology field.As I continue my academic journey (so exciting!), I am looking forward to further develop my counseling skills, deepen my understanding of the complexities of the human mind, and contribute to the well-being of those in need.
