Working at the International Cooperation and EU Department of the Czech Ministry of Justice before and during the Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union has given me all kinds of transferable and industry-specific skills, allowing me to grow both professionally and personally.Among other things, my tasks at the Ministry have involved:- the preparation and successful execution of the Ministry's events during CZ PRES. Most notably, the Informal Meeting of Justice and Home Affairs Ministers, and the EU-Western Balkans Ministerial Forum on Justice and Home Affairs in Tirana;- the coordination of EU legislation and other cross-cutting issues with relevant sections of the Ministry;- preparing documents for the Minister;- organisational support for the international activities of the Ministry and its representatives;- ensuring the fulfilment of the department's obligations under ratified international conventions and evaluation mechanisms;- continued education about the inner processes of the EU – successfully completed a state servant's exam on EU Policies, hosted a seminar for civil servants from Ukraine as part of the Civil Servants Mobility Programme.
