As an Environmental Clerk/Fauna Handler on the QCLNG Project for 14 Months working a 28/9 roster, I have acquired a variety of skills in relation to the construction of a pipeline. I also undertook site administration and travel coordinator roles over the last 3 months and became very compitent in these roles: - Data management – updating registers to ensure compliance with written procedures and council regulations.Long term experience with MS, Excel and Databases.- Daily Water monitoring of Aquatic Values Management Plan creeks before, during and after construction.- Maintain accurate databases of all environmental aspects- Review of documents such as CEMP, proceedures etc- Provided resource support to co-workers as required- Weekly site and post rainfall inspections- Investigation of environmental incidents and reporting to authorities. Spill procedures- Undertake environmental inspections and relay to our corrective actions register to rectify the issues- Safetly capture and relocate various species (including venomous snakes)- Safetly and appropriately working around mobile plant and on a construction site- Documenting all fauna deaths, relocations and reporting to the Client and Department of Environmental Heritage Protection (DEHP) within relevant time frame. - Fauna Spotter Catcher - Correct capturing, handling and relocation techniques - Venomous snake handling experience - Ability to determine correct fauna relocation sites - Able to determine if an animal is injured and will require care- Office Administration and Travel Coordinator - All general office administration tasks - Daily Liaising with Senior Management, Supervisors and workforce to ensure all documentation is up to date and organised - Domestic and international travel arrangements (flights & buses) for personnel involved within the project including accommodation bookings around Queensland. - Demobilistation of personnel and equipment for closing of camps.
