Reporting to the CEO and responsible for a team of Merchandisers & Quality Assurers.Planning capacity and placing all bulk production orders with global factories on the entire range of Animal products including technical performance & lifestyle apparel, accessories & footwear.Researching, analysing & selecting suppliers to be used each season in conjunction with Product Director, building key relationships and monitoring performance. Working with other key managers within the Design, Development & Sales Departments and the Distribution Centre to establish timelines and ensuring they are met.Negotiating cost prices and identifing ways to reduce costs and improve margin. Regularly tackling factory issues and resolving problems head on and in a proactive & professional manner.

Based in the central buying office, I worked on multiple products including mens denim, beachwear, outerwear and jersey as well as womens handbags and swimwear. During a spell working within the Sportwear division I also bought womens active sportswear both own brand and International brands.
