As a dedicated Wellbeing Officer, I provide comprehensive wellbeing, pastoral, and education support to students across all levels from undergraduate to Postgraduate Researchers. Serving as the primary contact for wellbeing-related queries, I offer expert advice, address support needs, and facilitate access to internal and external services.Key Responsibilities:- Offer accurate and expert advice to students on a wide range of issues, ensuring a professional end-to-end wellbeing service.- Act as the first point of contact for students with support needs, providing initial guidance and effective signposting.- Schedule regular and accessible opportunities for students to engage with wellbeing services both face-to-face and online.- Manage a high volume of emails, case notes, and follow-ups, prioritizing responses based on triaged priority and timelines.- Maintain accurate records and statistics of student interactions, contributing to risk identification and proactive interventions.- Handle a diverse student caseload, identifying and escalating risks, including severe mental health crises and safeguarding issues.- Manage academic-related administrative processes, including Extenuating Circumstances, Extensions, and Leaves of Absence.- Monitor and implement reasonable adjustments, collaborating with Academic and Professional Services staff to ensure compliance.- Support attendance and reasonable diligence processes, proactively identifying and managing wellbeing issues.- Develop and deliver communications on student wellbeing and support, continually reviewing and improving their effectiveness.- Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion within the role and wellbeing practices.- Crisis management
