ECO-Divemaster internship and working as a DM. This involved:- Independantly leading guests of all ages on dives- Ensuring good practice by teaching clients how to be respectful on the reef - Promoting the marine park, species, and the importance of the conservation work- DM duties: maintenance of equipment, shop work six days a week, beach cleans, lectures of coral and shark species, and identification course of the coral and fish species in the Caribbean.

I assisted with marine biological practices (field and laboratory) demonstrating to undergraduate students (1st and 2nd years students) at Bangor University School of Ocean Sciences (SOS). This would involve teaching, instructing and assisting with the practicals.

Organised and catalogued a large collection of shells, in order to compare the age and growth of Callista chione and Arctica islandica collected from the same area. Placed the shells in resin, created peels from the shells and analysed the samples using Buehler Omnimet software and MATLAB.

10 day cruise on the R.V. Prince Madog research vessel around the Isle of Man. This involved benthic sampling, sorting through catches, data entry, species Id-ing as well as living upon the ship and working with all the crew members. Also included 1 day on a smaller research vessel scallop dredging, sorting through catches and logging data. Multiple days aboard the R.V. Prince Madog conducting benthic grab sample surveys, otter trawl fishery surveys and oceanographic surveys.
